Then Gillian could stay in her own room and Jean & Mrs Russell in my big bed - Penna either up with Jock or in her own bed. At the moment Penna is up with Grace - she sleeps on the settee which I keep up there now so that one or other of the children can be sent up with Grace at a moment's notice if the other one is ill - saves infection. Gillian has been in her own room by day and in Penna's bed in my room by night. Penna has seen very little of her. Penna & I have started Serocalcin. Gillian shall start as soon as she has finished her bottle of medicine Dr M gave her. Dr M says she had better not go to school on Wed - wait till her cough is gone -
Well as you see arrangements could be made if you need me - and Mrs R I feel is well aware of the whole position and Dr M is very much on the spot and I believe really interested in the case and charmed with Gillian. By the way after he had gone over her chest the other day he asked to see her back she immediately put herself in this position!!! (sketch of girl bending over) and did so afterwards every time. He said it was "fine but tempting".
Then I've written to Mary - am expecting the answer by Tuesday - to see if she would come. But with Mrs R here even if Mary were willing to come we need not send for her unless Mrs R wanted -
That is - If you want me Mrs R will move in here & I'll come at once - then Mrs R can herself phone for Mary if she wants her. Mary knows the ropes from last year and had a good deal of homelitis with Sylvia when young -
